Who can I contact with any questions about Online Banking?
Customer Service Representatives are available during normal business hours and can be reached by calling The Blue Grass Valley Bank at (540) 468-1915 or (540) 474-2430. Online Banking customers can also submit a “Support Request” from the “Support” tab of your Online Banking screen.
Can I access help topics in Online Banking?
Yes. The Online Banking system includes extensive online Help contents that can be accessed by clicking on “Help” at the bottom of the page when you are logged into Online Banking. It will provide you with step-by-step instructions on the Online Banking features.
What types of accounts can I access with Online Banking?
Online Banking provides Blue Grass Valley Bank customers with Internet access to checking, savings, CDs, IRAs and loan accounts, in real time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Accounts with certain restrictions, such as requiring two signatures, cannot be accessed through Online Banking.
How do I access Online Banking?

What features does Online Banking offer?
Depending on the type of account, customers may have access to the following features:
- Account Balances — View checking, savings, CDs, IRAs and loan account balances
- Account Transaction History — View transaction history on deposit and loan accounts
- Funds Transfer — Make one-time or recurring transfers between your deposit accounts at the bank
- View & Print Check and Deposit Images — View and print front and back images of checks and deposit tickets that have posted to your account
- Make Loan Payments — Make loan payments any time of day using your Blue Grass Valley Bank checking or savings accounts
- E-mail Alerts — Set-up automatic alert messages for account balances, transactions, and security changes
- Online Bill Payment — Pay bills electronically
- Online Statements — View, download and print full images of your statements
What fees will I pay for Online Banking?
There is no regular monthly service charge for Online Banking. Other charges may apply, please refer to your account disclosures.

What is Online Bill Pay?
Online Bill Pay is a service that allows you to pay virtually anyone or any company through your Online Banking account. You determine who you want to pay, when you want to make the payment, and from which account you want the payment to come from.
Who can use Online Bill Pay?
Any Online Banking customer of the Blue Grass Valley Bank that has an active checking account and is eligible can use Online Bill Pay.

Who can I pay with Online Bill Pay?
You can pay virtually any business or individual with a mailing address within the United States and Puerto Rico. For example, you can pay utilities, cable bills or credit cards, or individuals such as a landlord, babysitter, or relative.
How do I start making payments using Online Bill Pay?
- First, login to your Online Banking account at www.bluegrassvalleybank.com.
- Next, click on the “Bill Pay” link.
- Then, add your payee from the “Payees” tab.
- Lastly, enter the amount and the process date and submit the payment.
How are payments delivered?
Payments are sent one of two ways — electronically or by paper check. The majority of payments are delivered electronically and your payment information, such as your account number, is sent via secure transmission. All other payments are made by paper checks that are mailed via the U.S. Postal Service.
Is Online Bill Pay secure?
Using Online Bill Pay is one of the fastest, safest ways to pay your bills. Online Bill Pay helps guard against identity theft from lost or stolen checkbooks, bills, and statements. It also increases your privacy because only you can access your account information, account numbers, and payment history. As a result, you maintain tighter control of your account with real time to your payment activity.
How long does it take for my payment to be received?
Generally, payments are received within 2 to 7 days, depending on whether or not the payment is sent electronically or via paper check. An estimated arrival date will be provided when a payment is scheduled.
How are the scheduled payments processed with Online Bill Pay?
Scheduled payments are sent electronically or by paper check and debited from your account on the process date.
What happens if I do not use Bill Pay for an extended period?
If you have enrolled in Bill Pay-e Plus with The Blue Grass Valley Bank and at any time you do not use this service for 180 consecutive days, your account will be deactivated. At this time, any future dated or recurring transactions will be deleted.
What is required to access Online Banking from my computer?
As an Online Banking customer, you will need to have a connection to the Internet and a supported browser such as:

Can I transfer funds between my accounts?
Yes. You can transfer funds between deposit accounts linked to your Online Banking Profile.
Can I schedule recurring or future dated transactions?
Yes. From the “Transfer” tab of your Online Banking screen you have the option to make a one-time transfer on a specific date or you can schedule recurring transfers.
How can I tell when a transaction is posting to my account?
Current day transactions will post in the pending column of your account balance information.
Can I export my data from Online Banking to financial software?
Yes. You have the option to export data into certain finance programs.
What if I change my email address?
For your protection, we must have notification via your secure Online Banking login of an email address change. You can update your email address through your Online Banking account “Settings” tab. Click on “Contact Info” under “Security Settings”, enter your new email address and click “Submit” to save your changes. The bank will update your records and any future correspondence, including Online Statement notifications, will be sent to your new email address.
If you are enrolled in Online Bill Pay, you will need to update your email address under this tab, as well. Under the “Bill Pay” tab scroll over “Options” and select “View Contact Info”. Click on “Update”, enter your new email address and click “Submit” to save your changes.
What happens if I do not login to Online Banking for an extended period?
If you have Online Banking with The Blue Grass Valley Bank and at any time you do not login to this service for 180 consecutive days, your account will be deactivated. Once your account is deactivated, if you were enrolled in Online Statements, an Online Statement will stop being produced and you will begin receiving paper statements in the mail.

What is an Online Statement?
An Online Statement is an electronic version of the paper statement you receive monthly for your deposit accounts. Online Statements include all of the information that you currently receive in your monthly paper statements, including canceled check images and statement messages.
Why should I sign up for Online Statements?
Online Statements are secure, convenient and eco-friendly. Online Statements are only accessible during an Online Banking session and help guard your personal information while reducing the clutter and hassle of paper statements. If enrolled for Online Statements, Blue Grass Valley Bank customers can access up to 13 months of statements online anytime and from anywhere there is secure Internet access.

Which accounts are eligible for Online Statements?
Most types of Blue Grass Valley Bank deposit accounts are eligible for Online Statements, including: Regular Checking, Investor’s Checking, Regular Savings and Money Market Accounts.
When will I begin receiving my statements online?
You will begin receiving statements online and stop receiving paper statements for the selected account with the next scheduled statement cycle. Online Statements will be produced at the same frequency as you received your paper statements.
Will I still receive a statement in the mail?
No. Once enrolled to receive Online Statements, you will no longer receive paper statements in the mail. The Blue Grass Valley Bank strongly recommends you to save your Online Statements to a secure location for future retrieval.
What if I enroll in Online Statements, but I decide that I want to change back to paper statements?
You can contact a Customer Service Representative at (540) 468-1915 or (540) 474-2430 to request that an account be changed from Online Statements to paper statements. You can also submit a “Request for Paper Stmts” from the “Support” tab of your Online Banking screen.
What software do I need to view my statements online?
Your Online Statement will be presented to you electronically in Portable Document Format (PDF). To view, print or save the PDF, you will need Adobe® Acrobat Reader on your computer. You can download a FREE copy of Adobe® Acrobat Reader from the link provided to you on the “Statements” tab or from www.adobe.com.
